According to the Tenant Protection Act of 2019, known as Assembly Bill 1482 (AB 1482) or California Rent Control Bill 2019, there were important deadlines for all California residential rental properties for California landlords to deliver required statutory language with an AB 1482 addendum. Yes, some properties are exempt from this California rent control law, but missing the deadline could put the AB 1482 exemptions at risk.
